Twilight of The Gods

      Erich Von Daniken Pieces together the worlds mysteries concerning Extraterrestrials in his new book Twilight of The Gods. Since writing his first book, Mr. Von Daniken has slowly and scientifically written thirty other books that piece together our human existence. The more he researches and discovers the more the picture he is painting becomes clearer. The shocking revelation that could upend all major religions on Earth and finally show that we are all interconnected thanks to our Alien ancestors. Twilight of The Gods is fascinating reading for anyone,even if you have never picked up a Von Daniken book or even if you are not a subscriber of his theories. Twilight of the Gods ventures deep into the Andes Mountains and ties in Puma Punku and Tiwanaku into the ending of the 2012 Mayan calender.

Puma Punku is a fascinating archeological treasure. Scientists, archeologists and historians are still grappling with how this great 'city” was built. Mr. Von Daniken spends a great deal of time on the details of Puma Punku and Tiwanaku. I was firmly gripped with his descriptions and writings concerning these ancient ruins as before I had never known of them. Mr Von Daniken predicts that this is where the ancient Aliens will return,in 2012. The ancient lore and stories around Puma Punku is that it was built in one day. The facts laid in The twilight of the Gods surely shows no stone age civilization could be even close to capable of the type of construction found at Puma Punku. Hard diorite rock boulders are precisely etched and cut as if by using a laser. Verticle intricate cuttings that even with today's equipment would be virtually impossible. The findings Mr. Vonn Daniken shows within his book will surely have you googling and research Puma Punka further.

Twilight of the Gods delves in and out of many subjects throughout the book. One main theme that runs in and out is religion. Not religion in the form that you may practice or currently believe, but one of the thought process that maybe all the different world religions only have a piece of the full truth. I have always been a believer that there is room in future thinking that all the different religions are somehow bound and tied together, we just don't know it yet. While many larger religions prefer to squash scientific truth and expound their non believers, Mr. Von Daniken lays good factual evidence that we may not be that far apart in who we worship and why. This appearantly will all become relavent on the year 2012, when they return. As Mr. Von Daniken puts it we are heading for a “God Shock”.

When I was thirteen, my mother gave me a copy of Chariots of the gods. It was one of the first full books I read cover to cover within a day. Since that time I have spent countless days and years sifting through the worlds different religions, tribes,ancestries and faiths. I have attended the Mormon Church, I am confirmed in the Episcopal Church,I am developing a scholarly and mental belief in the Gnostic Gospels. I have visited the Cherokee nation(Eastern Band) and have passively read some history on Islam,Buddhism. It is refreshing and inspiring to read and see the lengths that Mr. Von Daniken goes to to prove his beliefs in we are all connected from Ancient Alien Gods. I have firmly believed that within each religion we only tend to get a fraction of the “story”. For them to tell you anymore is to “give away” any sole possession(no pun intended). Twilight of The Gods connects many of the jigsaw pieces and puts them together in one fully completed puzzle so even the new seeker can see in plain sight. The sad part in this arena is the closed mindedness of some of the worlds top scholars on this belief. I have always wondered how a great scientific scholar could even have a closed mind. I feel it is time for some of the worlds top scholars to begin collaborating with Mr. Von Daniken on some of these projects and thought processes so everyone can finally see the full light. Until this time we will live in fractured thinking,until they return. There are far too many ancient texts that concern Giants,artificial insemination and large unearthly structures that poses the only answer is ancient aliens.

December 2012, the Mayan long count calender ends and with it's ending conspiracy theorists and scientists and everyone in between have gone on rampage as to what will happen. Many liken it to Y2K and mainstream news media has gone to great lengths o downplay the date, so far as to even interview Mayan descendants today to have them say it is meaningless,(wonder how much they paid them). Mr. Von Daniken believes they will be coming back and lays out the groundwork in this book. From the connection between the Puma Punku heavens gate calendar and the Mayan Calendar as one to the quetzel serpent and his representation among indian tribes throughout America, Mr. Von Daniken lays no stone un turned in showing that this specific date is the date that was recorded as there return. One wonders not if but why? Maybe the ancients knew that by this date they would be needed again. Picture them as the rollers of a wheel and us being the wheel. They come and give us a full rolls to get us going, then leave. Eventually that wheel becomes slow and offtrack, it begins to wobble and needs someone to roll it again. One thing is for sure, when they return no major religion,country or government will be the same, nor will either one if us. And maybe that is what is needed.
